With Karen now revealed as Krystal's mum, the boys have decided their chances of Adults Only action in the House have all but disappeared.

The revelation that Karen and Krystal are mother and daughter has caused commotion within the House. The girls responded enthusiastically as they gathered around Karen like a litter of kittens, asking questions about raising Krystal, Krystal's father and being a young mother. All in all, the girls group took the news well and appeared tight knit.

On the flip side the boys weren't so sure. Dino and Michael agreed that there was a certain way you had to act around somebody's parents, and they viewed Karen's position as a questionable intrusion. Michael said he was on better behaviour when he was with anyone's parents.

Krystal explained that all her ex-boyfriends had hung out with her and Karen and the boyfriends had to "get used to it". Krystal added that her mum was cool, and no one needed to act differently. Still obviously not convinced by her argument, Michael walked away.

The disclosure threw Michael into an even deeper state of thought and contemplation than is the norm for him. He took the news badly on a number of levels. He was disappointed in himself for not working out the twist, felt his relationship with Krystal was jeopardised, and also believed that Karen and Krystal's family relationship afforded them an unfair advantage. He also thinks the House is now too "lovey-dovey and rosy".

If there was a Karen and Krystal complaint hotline, Michael had the number on speed dial. Once his whingeing started, he just couldn't stop. He had a lengthy discussion outside with John, put the theory to David, and later took it up in the kitchen with John, Jamie, Dino and Ashley. He said he felt the twist was unjust and scandalous and that he felt betrayed.

The other boys (with the exception of David) seemed to care about just one thing. Did this reduce their chance of any sexual action in the house?
John said viewers wanted action. Michael then added that "there's not going to be any... unless there's hot-a... intruders".

They then listed their relative changes with each of the female HMs. According to the boys' theories, Karen and Krystal cancelled each other out, as neither would do anything in front of one another. Although in a separate conversation Krystal said to the girls that she would still "hook-up" in the House, because she had no secrets from her mum.

Tilli was ruled out as they suspect she is "in love with her best friend on the outside". Claire was also ruled out because they believed she was only interested in someone on the outside called "zoo guy".

They didn't think Elise would get into amorous action on TV, while they spoke of Katie being on her "V plates" before asking her if she would have sex on TV. She said no, so they re-worded the question, asking if she would, if she was in love, and her parents weren't watching. "Yeh naaaah," she laughed.

The odds weren't looking good. "What's up with it? All the guys are single as... ready to f**ing go!" exclaimed Michael, fuelled with pent-up emotion.

While the boys seem to have considered almost every possible option for getting laid, they haven't stopped to wonder if the girls possess their own criteria for attractive HMs. Perhaps the girls too are holding out for some "hot-arse intruders".
